When we were planning the first issue, I remember having a chat with someone that really stuck with me. As I explained the theme to them, she said that it made her feel really uncomfortable. She even admitted that it brought up some deep sadness. Her honest reaction hit me hard and made me realize that I had managed to capture something raw and real in the theme that truly struck a chord.
